This page explains what information we collect when you visit our site or work with us, what we do with it, and what we never do with it. Plain English, no tricks.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

When you contact us or place an order:

• Your name and email address
• Anything you write in your message
• Your project files: the track you upload, lyrics, reference notes

When you pay:

We do not take payment through this website. When your project is quoted, we send a payment request separately through PayPal or Revolut. Those services handle the transaction under their own privacy policies. We see your name, the amount, and whether it was paid. We never see or store your card or bank details.

When you browse the site:

Basic technical data such as pages visited, approximate country, and device or browser type. We use privacy friendly, cookieless analytics. We set no tracking cookies and run no advertising trackers on this site.

That is the full list. We do not buy data about you, and we do not collect anything from your social accounts.

3. Your music and your project files

Your uploads deserve their own section, because they are the sensitive part of this business.

• Your unreleased music, lyrics, and project notes are treated as confidential, as our Terms of Service also state.
• They are shared only with the musicians and engineers working on your specific project, each of whom is bound to confidentiality.
• They are stored securely with our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for the duration of your project and for 12 months afterwards, in case you return for revisions or lose your files. After that we delete them. You can ask us to delete them earlier at any time.
• We never use your music or lyrics to train AI models, and we never permit anyone else to. This is a hard rule, not a preference.
• We never publish, share, or excerpt your work in our portfolio or marketing without your explicit permission, which we ask for separately at delivery.

4. What we use your data for

• To reply to you and to deliver the project you ordered
• To send you project updates, previews, and the final delivery
• To keep basic accounting records, which the law requires us to keep
• To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it

We do not send marketing newsletters unless you explicitly sign up for one, and every such email includes a working unsubscribe link.

5. What we never do

• We never sell your personal data.
• We never share your data with advertisers.
• We never train AI on your uploads or messages.
• We never disclose that you are a client without your permission. Some clients prefer that the origin of their track stays private, and we respect that as the default.

6. Who we share data with

Only the minimum needed to run the service:

• The musicians and engineers subcontracted on your project (project files and first name only, never your contact details unless you ask us to connect you)
• Our hosting and file storage provider (Cloudflare), which stores data on our behalf
• Our email provider (Resend), which delivers our emails to you
• Our booking provider (Cal.com), if you book a call with us
• PayPal or Revolut, only when a payment request is sent to you
• Authorities, only if the law genuinely requires it

All service providers we use are bound by their own data protection obligations.

7. Where your data lives

Our providers store data in the European Union and the United States. Where data is transferred across borders, our providers rely on standard contractual safeguards.

8. How long we keep things

• Emails and enquiries: up to 24 months after our last exchange
• Project files: duration of the project plus 12 months, or less if you ask
• Invoices and payment records: as long as tax law requires ([to be added] years in [to be added])
• Analytics data: aggregate only, retained no longer than needed to understand site usage

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• Ask what data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it or delete it
• Ask us to stop using it, or to hand it over in a portable format
• Withdraw any consent you gave us
• Complain to your local data protection authority

To use any of these, email hello@replayedstudio.com. We answer within 30 days, usually much faster.

10. Cookies

This site runs cookieless analytics and sets no tracking cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary for the site to function are used. We do not use advertising cookies. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

11. Children

Our service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and, if you are an active client, tell you directly.
